Gabrielle Miller (she/her)

Overcoming adversity was part of my pathway to the counseling profession. I chose to study marriage and family therapy because I believe it is important to focus on relational functioning in terms of emotional systems rather than behavioral interactions.

I am a marriage and family therapist committed to helping adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families learn how to explore and process their hopes, dreams, fears, and anxieties. My clinical work focuses on embracing the “feeling” side of human nature to promote personal growth in a manner that feels congruent to one’s authentic self to create a sense of meaningful connection with others.

I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals in conjunction with utilizing evidence-based treatment interventions. I approach clinical situations by talking through presenting problems and offering support and guidance where applicable because I believe the client is the expert on their own experiences. My favorite part of my job is holding space for growth to organically unfold and also empowering clients with practical tools and knowledge to change their lives.

I am passionate about trauma-informed care and I am interested in continuing education training in areas of Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT), Body-Centered Psychotherapy, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.

Ultimately, I aim to help clients feel calm, safe, supported, and inspired. If you’re interested in scheduling with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to connecting with you.

The one thing I wish my clients knew most is: You don’t have to do it alone.
