Danaé Behr, MFT-T
Guided by Connection and Compassion
"Healing happens when people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and valued. My heart is to walk alongside others with empathy and authenticity, creating a space where laughter, vulnerability, and quiet reflection can lead to meaningful change."
– Danaé Behr, MFT-T
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer make sense, you’re not alone. You may be carrying the weight of anxiety, grief, unresolved trauma, or low self-worth. Maybe you and your partner keep having that same argument, or you’re drifting apart and unsure how to reconnect. Perhaps your family is navigating ongoing conflict or the strain of major life changes. You might simply be longing to feel understood, not only by others, but by yourself.
In times like these, it can help to have a space where you’re met with care, compassion, and understanding.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, we will explore together all areas that impact your life. In other words, I understand that you are shaped by your stories, relationships, and experiences that have brought you to this point! Healing happens in the context of safe, emotionally open relationships. We will use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to explore your vulnerable emotions, deepen understanding, and create new patterns of connection, support, and well-being.
As with all good things, meaningful growth requires time, trust, and safety. Therapy will help you walk away with tools, insight, and a greater sense of personal growth to continue your healing journey.
About Me
I’m a therapist (which I love!), but I also have a beautiful life outside of the therapy room. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three kids, and find peace and inspiration in nature. Hiking, kayaking, camping, or simply soaking up the fresh air—being outdoors helps me feel grounded and restored.
I am now accepting new clients! I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions.
